Class 1 E-Bikes with All-Day Range

Our lightweight Class 1 e-bikes are rated up to 70 miles of range on a full charge, providing plenty of power to explore Acadia National Park with confidence.

Note: Actual range depends on rider weight, terrain, and pedal-assist usage. For best performance, we recommend using assistance conservatively.

⏱️ Half-Day E-Bike Rental (4 Hours)

Our half-day rentals are available by advance reservation:

Morning start at 9:00 AM (10:00 AM during shoulder season)
Fixed 4-hour rental window (no need to rush your time starts once you depart)
If you stay out longer, your rental is simply upgraded to the full-day rate

Walk-in rentals are also available throughout the day on a first-come, first-served basis.

Included With an E-Bike Rental:

High Quality E-bike sized properly to your height. (Note: to meet National Park regulations for the Carriage Roads in Acadia, all our bikes are set up as Class 1 E-bikes and give assistance only when you pedal )
A helmet, lock, and water bottle holder
An orientation to the usage of the bike and and its functions as well as a briefing on rules and regulations for biking in Acadia National Park
A detailed Carriage Road map and directions to the nearest access point to the biking trails as well as suggested routes that will fit your goals and itinerary for the day.
Assistance in case of a mechanical issue. While we do not come out for dead batteries, our staff is available to come assist you should you have a mechanical issue, flat tire, or other non-medical emergency.

Additional Information

We don’t have on-site parking but are located downtown meaning we are an easy walk to the shop and only 1.5 miles from the nearest entrance to the Carriage Roads or 1 mile from the Park Loop Rd.
Minimum age: 18 years old or 16 with an accompanying adult. Due to insurance and liability constraints we do not allow anyone under 16 on our e-bikes.

All rentals come with a helmet. We strongly urge all customers to wear their helmet at all times while biking. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of others while cycling.
E-bikes returned after 5pm are subject to a $45 late fee. Overdue morning half-day rentals will be assessed at our full-day rental rate. We have a strict reservation cancellation policy. If you need to cancel you must do so by 6pm the day before. We do not offer same day cancellation or refunds
