Acadia SUP has a strict cancellation policy. Any changes to your reservation must be made by 6pm the day before your rental. No refunds are given for changes or cancellations made after 6pm. No exceptions will be made. We will offer you a chance to reschedule or a refund on the day of your reservation, if in our judgement, weather conditions make it unsafe or exceptionally unpleasant. Please plan accordingly if you think your plans will change or the weather forecast is not going to cooperate with your paddling or cycling goals for the day.
You are welcome to arrive a few minutes before your rental time to fill out paperwork, waivers, and get loaded. Full-day and multi-day rentals are available starting at 9am (10am in the shoulder season) and will be held for you all day regardless of the time you come to get them.
Paddle Boards: are due back 30 minutes before closing. Overdue rentals will be charged an $8/hour late fee. Last-minute rental extensions are often possible, but you must still call to check.
E-Bikes: are due back by 5pm. Because we must service and charge the bikes each day there is a $45 late charge for all bikes returned after 5pm.

You must be at least 18 years old to rent a paddle board. All renters are required to sign a waiver and fill out a float plan with our staff.
For safety and liability reasons, it is generally intended that you will take your rental to one of the local lakes. Reasons for this include but are not limited to: colder water temperatures, large tides, greater exposure to wind or waves, unpredictable fog, and potential boat traffic. Renters wishing to paddle in tidal water should be prepared to have a conversation with our staff about their experience and ability level.
We reserve the right to limit where you may paddle based on our assessment of your ability and daily wind and/or weather conditions. We do not offer refunds on rentals if we determine that where you plan to paddle is not appropriate to your ability level or the days weather conditions. Please keep your expectations flexible and remember that at the end of the day you are ultimately responsible for your own safety.
E-Bikes:
You must be at least 18 years old to rent an e-bike. All renters are required to sign a waiver. All renters agree to adhere to posted National Park regulations, speed limits, and local traffic laws.
