E-Bike Tour in Acadia National Park
Explore Acadia with us on a 4-Hour Guided E-Bike Tour! Our premium small group tours will take you on a journey of discovery along parts of both the scenic Park Loop Road and the famous Carriage Roads of Acadia with stops at Sand Beach, Thunder Hole, the Jordan Pond House and numerous scenic overlooks, this tour is without a doubt one of the best ways to see the majority of the highlights Acadia has to offer at a more intimate and immersive pace. Enjoy beautiful fall colors, scenic vistas, glacially carved mountains, and groomed gravel trails. Your guide will enrich your experience with stories of Acadia and its natural and cultural history.
Why bike with us? As a small specialty shop who’s main focus is customer service, personalized attention, and an eye for the details we are well suited to get you out and on your way. Because we maintain a small fleet we are able to assure our bikes are well maintained and the check in process is smooth. Our small group focus means that there is more time to have fun and less time dealing with large group dynamics and more personalized and customized time with your guide.
We are located downtown meaning we are an easy walk to the shop and only 2 miles from the nearest entrance to the Carriage Roads. and a mile from the Park Loop Rd. We are also the only bike rental outfit on Main St.
Our Class 1 E-bikes provide up to 50 miles of range on a full charge. This means that you should have plenty of charge to enjoy a fun day of biking without worry. (Note: Actual range will depend on your weight, chosen terrain, and how much assistance you use vs. traditional gearing. We do recommend being conservative with your use of assistance.)
Included on an E-Tour:
- Quality Ride1Up Turris model E-bike sized properly to your height. Choose between our step-through or step-over options. Not sure which to choose? Call us to discuss your situation. Read more about the bike here. (Note: to meet National Park regulations for the Carriage Roads in Acadia, all our bikes are set up as Class 1 E-bikes and give assistance only when you pedal )
- A helmet, lock, and water bottle holder
- An orientation to the usage of the bike and and its functions as well as a briefing on rules and regulations for biking in Acadia National Park
- A guide who will take you to many of the most desirable locations in Acadia and narrate for you about the natural and cultural history of the area.
- Full support from our shop should anything arise.
Guidelines & Policies:
We take safety seriously, and require all tour participants to wear a helmet while biking. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of others while cycling.
You must be 16 to participate. Youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult on the tour.
We have a strict tour reservation cancellation policy. If you need to cancel you must do so 24-hours from the start time of your reservation. We do not offer cancellation or refunds inside of 24-hours.
